Social Responsibility Nominations

Thank you to all parents and staff who put forward children for this award. It was lovely to get children nominated for a wide range of reasons – from litter picking in the New Forest, to volunteering time as a ‘Mashall’ at community events, to holding cake sales to raise money for charity or for sponsored walks to also raise money for charity.

All nominated deserve recognition for being a positive driving force for our planet’s future.

Well done Ben W, Mollie H, Summer G, Josh G and Suzzanna A.

Suzzanna was the winning nomination and she gets to choose a charity to be presented with £50.00. She has chosen the Special Baby Care Unit at Southampton Hospital. The same charity she has focused her other fundraising for.

Thank you also to Hythe Rotary for giving us the opportunity to present these awards and for the financial contribution to the chosen charity.

This award will be on-going so I am sure some of those nominated will be nominated again and others will follow, who are also doing great things to help our community, local charities and our planet.

Mr Ward
