House Captains

House Captains 2017-18

This year we have updated the house captain’s role and the process of election. Each house has elected a house captain from Year 6, having listened to each candidate’s speech  and declaration of intent – that is, what they propose to do as House Captain. Following this event, children from Year 5 were invited to apply to be Deputy House Captain to support the Year 6 Captains. They wrote an application which went to the School Council and Miss Mulley, who together chose the best four candidates.

Congratulations to our Year 6 House Captains who will be keeping up our weekly tally of house points and encouraging all their house members to compete for the honour of both the weekly winner’s board and the treat for the overall winning house of each term.

Congratulations in addition to the Year 5 Deputy House Captains, who have stepped up in support, and who will be given the chance to develop their leadership qualities this year.
