    • WPS Governors – Who are we?

How we work

The Governors meet together as a full governing body every month (excluding Dec. and Aug.).

Our statutory committees which cover Pay and HT Performance Management meet at regular intervals as required.

The Health and Safety governor is also a member of the school Safety Committee which meets half-termly.

Each governor also has links to specific areas of interest – for example: safeguarding,; health and safety, SEN, Pupil Premium etc. and are also linked to different subject areas in the curriculum

Governors are expected to visit in their specialist role and /or subject link role at least once a term where possible. Governors also make informal visits to school for special events and assemblies.
