School Milk

School milk at mid-morning break is an important part of a child’s diet. It provides a number of health benefits and social opportunities that ensure children get the most out of their school day.

As part of the School Food Plan, all maintained primary, infant, junior and secondary schools are now legally required to make milk available for drinking during school hours. Cool Milk is here to help schools across the UK achieve the ‘Milk and Dairy’ standard.

School milk is…

  • FREE for children under the age of five.
  • FREE to children receiving or entitled to free school meals*.
  • Subsidised for all other children in primary education.

Once a child reaches the age of five, their entitlement to free milk stops unless they are entitled to free school meals.

If as a parent you would still like your child to receive School milk then you would need to register with Coolmilk online.  You will then be invoiced by Coolmilk directly.

Please click on the below link, detailing the website you need to register for additional milk.
