Wellbeing

Every Mind Matters

Every Mind Matters self-care tool – Your Mind Plan can help you to take simple steps to look after your mental health and find a good work-life balance.

What’s this for?  Now, at a time when you are busy supporting your family through this challenging period, it’s important that you look after your own wellbeing.

Public Health England’s mental health campaign Every Mind Matters offers a free online action plan, approved by the NHS, that offers simple steps we can all take to care for our mental health. The tool can help to deal with stress and anxiety, boost mood, improve sleep quality and take control of our wellbeing.

Whilst you care for others, why not also create your own self-care action plan?

Domestic Abuse

Getting help and support for domestic violence
You do not have to wait for an emergency situation to find help. If domestic abuse is happening to you, it’s important to tell someone and remember you’re not alone.

Extra support during coronavirus
Advice to self-isolate due to coronavirus does not apply if you need to escape from domestic abuse.

Many pharmacies have safe spaces where you can get information about support and make calls.  (Anyone of any gender can now go into a participating pharmacy and ask for ‘Ani’, pronounced Annie, and acronym for ‘action needed immediately’. They will then be taken by a staff member into a private room where they will be helped and put in touch with the relevant support services.)

Find pharmacies offering safe spaces on the UK Says No More website
